On Sunday 9 October, the Oosterpark will be the stage for a special work of art for a day. A work of art that brings happiness and connects people. Do you participate by sending a wish?
The artwork consists of 500 cheerful little figurines and is called ‘PHiNG-THiNGs’. There is a wish for happiness on each figurine. And you decide which one. Send your wish to the artist no later than September 16 by emailing info@phingthing.com.
What do you wish someone else?
So: what is your wish for someone else? Party every day, a life full of adventure, lots of sun and little rain? All is well, as long as it is serious. Your wish appears on one or more statuettes and you make a stranger happy with it.
About PHiNG-THiNGs
The figurines are a design by artist Gert-Jan Vlaming. This year they will be made in a workshop for vulnerable people in IJburg. Also last year the statuettes made people happy in the Oosterpark and before that in London. More information can be found at phing-thing.nl.
