Exhibition ‘Kandinsky’ attracts 145,000 visitors to H’ART Museum and the neighborhood.

H’ART Museum closes the ‘Kandinsky’ exhibition with a number of visitors of 145,000. The exhibition has become more popular day by day, especially in the last few days. That is why the museum extended its opening hours last week to give as many visitors as possible the opportunity to see the collection. The exhibition closed its doors on Sunday evening, November 10, at 7 p.m.

The majority of visitors came from the Netherlands, but the exhibition also had visitors from Belgium, America and Germany. H’ART Museum and partner Center Pompidou look back on a successful start to the collaboration. ‘Kandinsky’ was opened by King Willem-Alexander last June and marks the international restart of the new museum (formerly Hermitage Amsterdam).

Center Pompidou and H’ART Museum are currently preparing the next exhibition that will open in September 2025. The famous sculptor Constantin Brancusi (1876 – 1957) takes center stage.

Especially for the anniversary ‘Amsterdam 750’, H’ART Museum will present an exhibition from December 4 that focuses on 75 very different artists who gave and continue to give the city color and character. From Johan Cruijff through the eyes of Marlene Dumas (1953) to Amsterdam in the 1990s through the lens of Erwin Olaf (1959-2023).
