Plantage Poetry Prize 2021 awarded

On September 18, the winner of the Plantage Poetry Prize 2021 was announced in the Luther Museum Amsterdam: Onno Sven Tromp wrote the winning poem ‘What do you want from me’. The poem can be found on the website of the Friends of the Plantage Association, which annually organizes the competition and awards the prize. The prize for Onno was a work of art by visual artist Nol de Koning.

During this 30th edition, the central theme was Question. Participants had until 15 August to submit their poem(s), which were then assessed anonymously by a three-member jury of poets.

The Friends of the Plantage aim to promote a flourishing cultural life in and around the Plantagebuurt in Amsterdam and to this end organize small-scale cultural activities in and around the Plantage neigborhood.
