Yes, that’s what it’s really called…… This largest and coziest living room festival will take place on Sunday, February 2, 2025 in various places in the Netherlands, including Amsterdam and our neighborhood.
Do you live nearby, do you have spare space at home, or do you know of a building with accessible space for performances? Or maybe you would like to perform with your community theater, your band or orchestra? The winter edition of Peeking at the Neighbors will take place in February and you can still register for space or performances!
Acts and living rooms wanted
In 25 municipalities, performing artists take the carpet as a stage and neighbors plop down on the couch as a stand. Finally experience up close how that neighbor strums his guitar or how the neighbor recites poetry by the fireplace. The organization is still looking for acts and living rooms for this!
Welcome a local performing artist to your living room in De Plantage! Turn your living space into a community theater for one day! From cozy student studios to gracious mansions: there is a suitable act for every space. Or register your show! A dance show, theater piece, jazz performance or poetry reading: the discipline does not matter.
