From December 14, Wereldmuseum Amsterdam will present the exhibition ‘Council of the Raven’. Children aged 6 to 13 can join a global group of children committed to the climate and a healthy planet. Respect for the earth is central to the interactive exhibition.
Raad van de Raaf immerses children in a world that stimulates all the senses and in which they actively participate. Children are provided with valuable knowledge and ideas for a sustainable relationship with the earth. They are invited to share their ideas for the future of the earth. With contributions from scientists, filmmakers and artists from home and abroad, Raad van de Raaf offers a profound and inspiring journey towards a just world.
Children discover how indigenous communities in Greenland, Peru, Morocco and Bangladesh feel and deal with the consequences of the climate crisis every day. Through personal stories, video portraits and interactive activities, the children learn about their relationship with nature, the vulnerability of the earth and the resilience of humans.
