- A great place tucked away in a courtyard behind the Hermitage called Dignita Hoftuin, Nieuwe Herengracht 18A
- Relax in the inner garden of H’ART Museum. When the weather is nice, the Grand Café closes its doors and opens the kiosk on their large sunny terrace in the courtyard. Amstel 51, entrance Amstel side.
- Delicious Italian lunch on the terrace overlooking the canal at restaurant A Tavola, Kadijksplein 9
- A large sunny terrace where you can spend the whole day with an amazing view of the Oosterpark; PARK cafe-restaurant, Hotel Arena, ‘s-Gravesandestraat 55
- A hidden gem on Roeterseiland where you can enjoy the water of canal de nieuwe achtergracht until the last rays of sunshine. Here you can also see performances or follow a course. Terrace CREA café, Nieuwe Achtergracht 170
- For summer evenings on an idyllic square with animal sounds from Artis in the background you go to café-restaurant De Plantage, Plantagekerklaan 36
- Look out over the city while you relax in the green oasis on the roof top of hotel Zoku, Weesperstraat 105
- Meeting people, having a drink, eating peanuts and chatting endlessly about what you’re going to see or just saw at Filmtheater Kriterion , Roetersstraat 170
- Eat delicious delicacies and home-made specialties at the terrace. Or take along the borrl box to enjoy on a boat or in the park. De Deli Plantagebuurt, Plantage Kerklaan 41
- Enjoy a bagel on the terrace at the corner of Roetersstraat 2A at Bagels & Beans
