Royal theater Carré and restaurant BAUT join again for the third season of ‘Carré terrace on the Amstel’

Two years ago, Carré started the beautiful terrace on the Amstel, which is now a name in Amsterdam. The largest and most beautiful floating terrace in the heart of the city with a fantastic view over the Amstel, the Magere Brug and the iconic theater. Good news: the terrace recently opened its third season, to loud applause!

After a successful collaboration in the summer of 2021, restaurant BAUT will again provide the menu this year. BAUT started in 2012 – under the leadership of chef Michiel van der Eerde – as a pop-up restaurant on the Wibautstraat. The restaurant has been in seven different locations in Amsterdam in eight years and is master in building a fully functioning concept at breakneck speed.

Bram Kreté, Operations Manager Royal Theater Carré: Every year the ‘Carré Terrace on the Amstel is a great addition to the total theater experience that we offer as Carré. We are happy to let everyone in the city experience the magic of Carré. A terrace in the most beautiful spot in the city is an absolute must. We consciously opt for a collaboration with an Amsterdam partner for our terrace because we like to connect with entrepreneurs and activities in our city.
