The terrace of Carré Theater at the Amstel river reopened this month. You can enjoy delicious coffee, lunch, drinks or dinner with a spectacular view of the Amstel.
Give me Amsterdam
Carré presents an all-day menu in collaboration with sustainable and creative catering agency, The Food Line-Up and BAUT. The dishes on the “Give me Amsterdam” menu are prepared with local products. Xander Walle of restaurant Entrepot provides a nice wine list.
Pop-up Amsterdam restaurants
Just like the culture sector, the catering industry has been hit hard, and the newly opened restaurants receiving limited support. That is why Carré makes part of the terrace – pop-up – available for several weekends this summer for Amsterdam restaurants that opened their restaurant during the corona crisis and deserve a kickstart. They present a fixed 3-course dinner for € 39.50 per person. There are a limited number of tables available per evening. Reservations, including deposit, are required for these pop-ups.
As long as the current measures apply, a reservation for lunch is possible, for a cup of coffee or a drink you can make a reservation at the door. Of course we follow the guidelines from the government and ask the visitor to adhere to these guidelines.
Carré Terras aan de Amstel, open Tuesday to Sunday from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m., more information about reservations and menu on the website.
