Amsterdam Museum is moving to De Plantage neighborhood

A special temporary move to the Plantagebuurt is about to happen! The Amsterdam Museum on Kalverstraat will be renovating in the coming years. That is why the museum is moving to the Hermitage Amsterdam.

The new Panorama Amsterdam collection presentation can be seen there from Saturday 5 March. A chronological exhibition that, in addition to the traditional history of Amsterdam, also offers a lot of space for dissenting voices and lesser-known and more recent histories of the city. In addition, there are new, smaller exhibitions every six months and a free open-air exhibition in the courtyard garden.

The Amsterdam Museum also organizes an extensive public and education program in its temporary home.
