Message from the organization of the Amsterdam Light Festival:
Dear residents of the Amsterdam Light Festival Route Centrum-Centre East,
At the Amsterdam Light Festival we hope to leave the crowds behind us in a few weeks, but not before we inform you about the current developments of the preparations for Edition 12.
During the evaluation last February, we already hinted that we were developing a new route. This now seems to be becoming reality: the route of Edition 12 will no longer run over the Oudeschans and through the Plantage Weesperbuurt. With this we trust that you feel heard in the desire to build our party in another part of the city.
From the organization I would like to thank you all very much for the cooperation. It was not always easy, but know that your story has been heard and that we have always looked for a joint solution with respect for both parties.
We will miss you and we hope to meet again in a few years, but for now we say goodbye for now. Who knows, maybe we’ll see each other on the new route?
