Doctors Without Borders has put a video and a photo report online about the work of the past 50 years.

That is not really something to celebrate, according to the organization;

Our teams have been working for people in crisis situations for half a century. In these five decades, the world has changed, but our mission has remained the same. The fact that our work is still necessary after 50 years is not something to celebrate. It means that people are still suffering from lack of medical care. Due to armed conflicts, natural disasters and the large-scale outbreak of diseases, such as the corona pandemic. That’s why our aid workers provide independent medical assistance in more than 85 countries. In this photo report we look back on our 50-year history.

The report can be found on the website of Doctors Without Borders.
