Winter festival in H’ART Museum

00:00:00event

The nicest and most creative place in Amsterdam this winter, and Julius Caesar exhibition free for up to 18 years

In view of the holidays this season, H’ART Museum is offering a range of activities to make it festive for museum visitors from 8 to 88. Until January 8, 2024 there will be winter concerts – organized in collaboration with Winteravonden aan de Amstel – lectures, free tours, workshops and a coloring competition for children. There is a winner every week and the winners receive exhibition space in the museum.

To make the Winter Festival truly special for families and young people, everyone up to the age of 18 has free entrance to the Caesar exhibition. The Museum Shop and the Grand Café are also participating in special Winter Festival offers. The chestnut trees in the historic courtyard are of course attractively lit. And the museum’s concert grand piano can be played once by piano enthusiasts.

Creativity is central during the Winter Festival. Think of the concerts of partner Winteravonden. They bring young talents, but also the beloved musical fairy tale Peter and the Wolf in the well-known performance by Frank Groothof. The youngest generation can get started at the craft tables in the Grand Café or in the studios during creative workshops for the whole family. Sunday January 7 is the last day. To make it really special for families and young people, everyone under the age of 18 has free entrance to the Caesar exhibition.
