ARTIS is organizing the first Earthlings Festival in June.
For the future of our home, we need all life. From the smallest bacteria to the largest tree. And everything in between. During the Earthlings Festival there is plenty to do and experience in ARTIS for young and old! There will be lectures, live shows in the Planetarium, talks, workshops, children’s activities, and much more. Feel that all earthlings share one home at the festival from 15 to 23 June in ARTIS. Dine on Artisplein
Take a seat at the Artisplein, where star chef Emile van der Staak and cooking fanatic Freddy Tratlehner will show you what the reinvention of our food can look like through a plant-based dinner. Will you be there on June 18, 19 or 20?
For the littlest earthlings
Discover what there is to do for the newest generation of earthlings. From young to old, there is something for everyone. Pick up an activity sheet and go on a discovery tour through the park. Or look for all the locations on the trail and discover how we differ from hunter-gatherers.
Immerse yourself
There are installations in which you can completely lose yourself. Launch yourself into space in the Spacebuzz on the Artisplein and experience the earth from space. Imagine yourself as a candidate minister and make policy choices in the Mini-Ministry of the future in the Planetarium. How do you make responsible choices that create a prosperous future for all Earth’s inhabitants?
Evening sounds
Be inspired by the activating lectures from various future thinkers. Find out how we can work together for a healthier planet and a sustainable future. Follow a good example.
