Presentation of the Plantage Poetry Prize on 1 October.
The jury of the Plantage Poetry Prize 2022 has deliberated intensively, decided and drinks champagne. They read 119 poems submitted by 119 poets from the Netherlands and Flanders. This year’s theme was ‘Mirror’ and that is what the jury members were presented with in very diverse poems: poetry from rear-view mirror to mirror of the soul, to mirror on the wall.
The three nominated poets are, in alphabetical order, Monica Boschman, Martine van der Reijden and Maaike van Steenis. The winner of the Plantage Poetry Prize 2022 of these three will be announced on Saturday afternoon, October 1, 3:00 PM, at the award ceremony in the Luther Museum. It will be a fantastic feast of language and music. Welcome!
