Kees van Kooten; That’s how you become happy
Can you read yourself happy? Kees van Kooten thinks so and talks about the work and life of the humorous, award-winning poet Billy Collins (New York, 1941), recently Poet Laureate of the United States. Collins published eight books of poetry, which sold more than 250,000 copies. His poetry has never before been translated into Dutch.
Van Kooten translated and provided twenty-six poems with extensive and witty commentary. A literary afternoon, exclusively in Carré, with the poems that inspired him so much, and which are framed with musical interludes by the famous Benjamin Herman trio.
