For active city walkers, the Hortus Amsterdam is organizing a special coffee tour around the Hortus this weekend. In addition to coffee or tea, a free walking map is available at the Oranjerie’s collection point for a fun and educational tour of the botanical garden.
These first beautiful spring days are normally busy days in the Hortus. But like other museums, Amsterdam’s botanical garden is still closed to the public. Discovering the sights around the Hortus is of course still possible. That is why the Hortus developed “the coffee round”; a short city walk around the garden through the Plantagebuurt. Long enough for 1 cup of coffee
