Hortus; summer bloomers and cocktails
In July and August you can enjoy the garden and greenhouses of the Hortus for an extra long time. The garden is open every Thursday and Sunday until 21:00. Stroll through the lively garden full of summer flowers, read a good book in peace under the cooling fig tree or enjoy a drink or snack under the parasol on the terrace. Your evening out is complete with the delicious summer menu in the Hortuscafé! Would you rather do something; there are guided tours, treasure hunts for children and even special summer cocktails in the Hortuscafé.

ARTIS Summer Evenings; barefoot path and music
In ARTIS you can enjoy the twentieth edition of the ARTIS Summer evenings. This one is extra festive and is all about a healthy future for the earth. In addition to the familiar program with live music, picnics in the grass and an interactive route for children, there is plenty to do this summer to reconnect (as a person) with nature. Walk the barefoot path, taste the edible garden, listen to special stories in the park and leave your promise to the earth.
