Wednesday September 7 and Thursday September 8 there will be a piano concert outside on our terrace from 12:00 to 15:00. Everybody is welcome!

Monday 5 September is the start of the Academic Year on Roeterseiland. Our Bagels & Beans branch has been located in the heart of the Roeterseiland campus since 2013. In a prime location on the corner of Roetersstraat 2A with Nieuwe Prinsengracht, and directly opposite the main entrance of the UvA.

Every day, local residents, students, professors and other employees of the UvA drop by here for a quick lunch or a work meeting while enjoying a coffee, fresh juice and of course a bagel! We have been doing this with a lot of love with our entire team for almost 10 years now.

September is always a very special month and it is pleasantly busy. This year we want to reflect on how great this all is. Students from all over the world visit us; from Korea to Saudi Arabia Japan, Colombia, Mexico and of course also of Dutch descent!

The pianist is a real talent and has learned to play the piano all by herself, which is very clever. She will play a number of covers and will also perform her own pieces. You’re welcome!

Roeterseiland Campus
The campus is one of the four open city campuses of the University of Amsterdam (UvA) and is located in the center of Amsterdam in the Plantagebuurt. The campus is home to the faculties of Economics and Business, Social and Behavioral Sciences and, since 2017, also the Faculty of Law.
