Opera Rusalka in the Park

During Holland Festival, every year one of the operas in the program is on view on a big screen in open air, in Park Frankendael (a 6 minutes bike ride outside the Plantage). This year, the magical opera Rusalka, written by composer Antonin Dvořák, is starring on Thursday evening June 15th. And to top it off: it’s for free.

Rusalka is an opera about a young woman who lives at the selvedge of society. In the lead is soprano Johanni van Oostrum. Nymphs and water spirits, the world famous Song to the Moon; Rusalka is a beautiful opera fairy tale, no doubt you will dream away with.

Rusalka is on stage from 2 until 25 June at the National Opera and Ballet in the Plantage. So, you can always listen warm and cosy inside the theatre as well…
