Festive opening of the season

On Saturday 2 September 2023, Dutch National Opera & Ballet will open its doors for the public. Young and old, connoisseur and newcomer: everyone is welcome and admission is free.

Discover the magical world of Dutch National Opera & Ballet! We put together a varied program, including performances, exhibitions, workshops and a visit to our studios.

What is there to do?
We are opening our doors again for the first time in four years. We would therefore like to welcome you at the main entrance on the square and at the decor workshop. Pre-registration is not necessary. Walk in and discover the world before and behind the scenes. Get acquainted with various crafts, such as making costumes, hats, wigs and props and attend performances by the Dutch National Opera Studio, the Choir of the Dutch National Opera and the Dutch National Ballet.

There are various activities for the children, but you can of course also go on a journey of discovery together through the theater and decor workshop. Our employees are happy to answer all your questions in our workshops and studios. In short, something for everyone. Be on time and don’t miss anything.
