National Remembrance Day and Yom Hashoah in Hollandsche Schouwburg

19:30:00event

During National Remembrance Day on May 4, we commemorate the victims of the Second World War. This year the commemoration will take place in the recently reopened Hollandsche Schouwburg. The doors will open at 7:00 PM and we invite you to participate in the commemoration. The ceremony starts at 7:30 PM.

The commemoration in the Hollandsche Schouwburg is organized in collaboration with representatives of the Plantage-Weesperbuurt. A student from the IVKO school recites a self-written poem. Given the history of this place, some Jewish elements have been included in the commemoration, such as the Yizkor and Kaddish prayers.

It is not necessary to register to attend the National Remembrance Day ceremony in the Hollandsche Schouwburg.
