Mini-expo about butterflies in De Plantage

In the ANMEC-Nature Mediatheque they are under the spell of butterflies. You too?

This spring they therefore opened a mini-exhibition in the hall of the Hugo de Vries Building with photos of the Butterfly Foundation and information about the how, what and where of butterflies and moths. The exhibition can be seen until November. Are you coming over? Every 2nd Wednesday of the month there is an opportunity to visit the building, or during one of the many other activities.

Do you also want to butterfly this summer? Then visit the butterfly gardens of Mot in Mokum in Amsterdam North. Moth in Mokum plants so-called gestation and host plants, on which butterflies live. There is a good chance that you will see the most beautiful butterflies flying there this summer!

Also nice! Groenpunt020 expert Els de Vos is organizing pop-up moth nights in East Amsterdam all summer: “Moths are butterflies that fly in the night. Many people do not know that at night the Amsterdam airspace teems with life: moths and bats rule the day. Moths are often overlooked, but once you have seen them you want to Lake.”

Do you want to participate in one of the pop-ups in East? Then sign up.
