Take your Valentine to De Plantage neighborhood….. and treat him or her to a special love adventure in one of the parks, cultural institutions or great hotspots in the area.

There is something special to see or do in all museums, theaters and parks. There is also plenty to taste, especially on or around Valentine’s Day. You will find some nice tips below;

  • At ARTIS you can go to ‘Valentine under the stars’ with or without your loved one on February 14. Under the starry sky of the Planetarium, the ARTIS biologists and astronomer will tell you all about love in nature; about love of life and for the earth, the love written in the stars and about microbes – the smallest form of life that makes all love possible.

  • Also do the ‘Know who you date’ tour of the Wereldmuseum; which can be booked for free during the week of Valentine’s Day.
