There are all kinds of fun activities during the Christmas holidays surrounding the exhibition about the work of artist Sol Le Witt, especially for families and children.
Watch conceptual art with your whole family. And that is anything but boring, because Sol’s art pops off the wall. You see many sleek and wavy patterns around you. Sometimes in black and white, but usually in all kinds of cheerful colors. In addition to the wall drawings, sculptures, works on paper and archival material by Sol LeWitt are also on display.
Playground
A Playground for families has been set up at the exhibition. Here you can recreate Sol’s works of art from the exhibition this Christmas holiday or come up with a completely new work of art yourself! There is a jigsaw puzzle for the younger children. There are drawing days on December 27, January 3 and January 7, where you learn to draw just like Sol.
Baking cookies and more
In addition to the exhibition, you and the whole family can also visit the Jewish Museum junior. Here you will learn more about Jewish culture and customs. On December 28 and January 2 you can bake Rogelach, traditional Jewish festive cookies.
Practical information
With an entrance ticket, participation in all holiday activities is free. Tickets can be purchased at jck.nl. More information about the exhibition can be found on the website.
