In 2007, the Hans van Manen Festival organized by Dutch National Ballet on the occasion of Van Manen’s seventy-fifth birthday was the highlight of the theater season.
Now Van Manen turns ninety, and once again the international dance world gathers to pay tribute to the grand master of Dutch ballet.
From 8 to 29 June, the Dutch National Ballet will present four performances, performed by eight national and international dance companies and ensembles. The musical accompaniment is in the hands of the Ballet Orchestra conducted by Matthew Rowe and Jonathan Lo, and the Carel Kraayenhof Ensemble.
A party to celebrate the dance and one of the Netherlands’ most famous grandmasters. Look here for more information and tickets!
