Saturday 16 September is World Cleanup Day. With more than 180 countries, we are giving our planet a major clean-up on that day. Fun activities are also organized in Amsterdam and De Plantage to clean the neighborhood or street together. Are you participating? The World Cleanup Day is an initiative of Nederland Schoon and the Plastic Soup Foundation. You can participate on your own, organize a cleaning campaign with a group, or join an existing initiative. Register at worldcleanupday.nl.

Borrow materials
Of course you can use your own waste grabbers or garbage bags, but you can also borrow a waste grabber and waste ring from the municipality. You can request clean-up materials from the municipality until 30 August.
