It’s Hortus Weekend again, with Plants on a journey this year!

The Hortus closes the summer season again this year with the Hortus weekend, full of artistic workshops, a storyteller and lots of fun and especially greenery in the store. The weekend is all about Plants on the move.

Saturday Sunday; Hortus shop
The Hortuswinkel is expanding! During the Hortus weekend you will find extra offer in and around the Hortus shop. Think of the regular range and add a lot of greenery to that, from watering cans and garden tools to sustainable plants and bulbs to plant yourself. A mecca for the plant lover!

Workshops traveling & drawing

  • Draw your own jungle; Jolien from Studio Stunner teaches you to draw plants in a fun way in this botanical drawing workshop. Based on sketches, you build up your drawing with different layers and materials. Jolien shows you how to create depth and details and how to put your dream jungle on paper as lush as possible. The workshop is suitable for beginners.
  • Travel along the line of branch, leaf and flower; Maartje van den Noort makes beautiful plant art. You can create beautiful flower and plant portraits on different types of paper with a fineliner. Each participant will receive their own folder in which you can take your drawings with you. This workshop is suitable for people with some experience. Click here for info and tickets.
