On March 24 from 6:30 PM (7:00 PM dinner time) to 9:00 PM, an Iftar will be organized by the Maritime Museum, in collaboration with the Eastern Islands Foundation and with the help of Doka.

Iftar in the fasting month of Ramadan ends the fast for that day; this happens with a communal meal immediately after sunset.

Invitations to this event are made via the Eastern Islands Foundation, which explicitly wants to involve the neighborhood. There will be room for 250 to 300 neighbors.

Normally this Iftar was always held in the Oosterkerk, this year the Maritime Museum is the location and co-organizer.
