Get out of your head, go for a walk

April 4 is WDJW ’24; Walk During Your Workday ’24

Did you know… Walking 30 minutes a day can reduce symptoms of depression by 36%? Research shows that complaints among employees about mental health increase by 31%. Adding walking to the daily routine has a positive effect on the mental health of employees.

The sixth edition of the ‘Walk to Work Day’ will take place on Thursday, April 4, 2024. That day has been organized by Wandelnet since 2016 on the first Thursday of April and is a national campaign that calls for people to walk (part of the distance) to work.

So get moving and use walking during your working day as a solution for your mental health, or just because you enjoy it. Whether you participate as an individual for yourself or as a company to activate your employees in the workplace.

How can you participate?
You can participate in the WTJW ’24 campaign as an individual or as an organization. Participation is free, Wandelnet wants to get as many participants moving as possible. After registering, you will receive tips, tricks, facts and information to put walking into practice on a working day.

Or participate as an organization and activate employees directly on location. Using posters, banners, stickers and compliment cards, visualize the benefits of walking on a working day in the workplace. Sign up and work on walking during a working day!
