Freedom meal in the Resistance Museum with Erik Dijkstra

12:00:00event

On Liberation Day, the Resistance Museum is once again organizing a Freedom Meal.

Between 12:00 and 2:00 pm on May 5th we will have lunch together in the museum and celebrate freedom. Radio & TV maker, journalist and writer Erik Dijkstra joins us for lunch and talks about his TV documentary and the book of the same name that he co-wrote: Strikes on life and death, the forgotten April-May strikes of 1943. Together we talk about what these and other war events still mean to us in the present. How do we deal with freedom and lack of freedom?

The three-part documentary Strike on life and death can be seen on NPO 2 at the end of April. The book is already available. During the Freedom Meal you can purchase your copy at the shop of the Resistance Museum and Erik Dijkstra will be happy to sign it for you.

You can order tickets for the extensive lunch for €19. This includes drinks and museum visit. Amsterdam City pass holders (with a green dot) can lunch for €5 (bring a city pass with a green dot to the museum).

Freedom meal, Verzetsmuseum, Plantage Kerklaan 61, book your place at the table via the museum website.
