You can of course celebrate a two-week holiday in the National Maritime Museum, where it is warm and cosy! Together with Cinekid, the museum offers an enchanting program for young and old. View the entire program here.
Big screen light
From 24 December to 8 January there is a cozy holiday program for young and old. The museum is joining forces with Cinekid , the film festival for children during the autumn holidays. Feast your eyes on all kinds of movie fun and imagine yourself at sea! Draw your own mini animation film, make a family portrait with a green screen and come to our pop-up cinema in the afternoon with the beautiful (and acclaimed) film adaptation of the children’s book Lampje – written by Annet Schaap.
Fun for the whole family
And there is even more fun to experience for the whole family. Discover all kinds of fun facts with the junior audio tour, climb aboard the VOC ship Amsterdam or go on an adventure with the little ones – from 2 years old – in the new exhibition Diver Doris and color in a drawing board full of sea monsters!
