On February 24, 2023 at 2 p.m., the commemoration of the Jewish resistance during World War II will take place. As in previous years, this commemoration is organized by the ‘Mauthausen’ Circle of Friends Foundation. The commemoration will take place close to the Waterlooplein.

In February 1941, Jewish gangs fought there to protect the Jewish local residents and traders against the brutal raids of the armed defense department (WA) of the NSB.
