How nice is it to start Christmas as a neighbor with a Christmas breakfast in the museum around the corner…!

This is possible during the second neighborhood breakfast that the National Maritime Museum is holding especially for neighbors on December 17, 2023.

Are you also coming for breakfast? Neighbors are very welcome to start the Christmas holidays at the museum! You can register for the neighborhood breakfast via this link on the website.

Are you unable to attend? The following dates have also been planned, each around a theme:

• December 17, 2023 – Christmas breakfast
• January 21, 2024 – Diver Doris (reading days)
• February 18, 2024 – Cor Jaring; Neighborhood views and harbor portraits
• March 17, 2024- International Women’s Day

Thuishaven program
In 2022, The Maritime Museum won the Friends Lottery Museum Prize with the theme ‘best neighbor’. With the prize money of €100,000, the museum is organizing the Thuishaven program this year: a monthly breakfast for local residents, organized together with a neighborhood partner. The ambition is to connect the museum and the neighborhood more and thus become a home base for everyone.
