Until April 28, 2024, children’s works of art can be seen in the Amsterdam Museum aan de Amstel.

They are presented as part of the ELJA Children’s Museum Lab project, where children are given the opportunity to think about the city museum of the future. The theme of this very first edition is ‘freedom’. How do children shape this complex theme in art, and how does this help us reflect on what freedom means to us?

There is work on display made by the children of the Amsterdam Museum Camp under the guidance of artists Yasser Ballemans, Anouschka Boswijk, Marlou Fernanda, Malou Sumah, Noémi Beyer, Tessa Hendriks, Janne Igbuwe and Carmen Schabracq.
