Holiday camp is always fun, how about Museum Camp then?
In the period 2023-2025, children from Amsterdam (9-12 years) will have the opportunity to think about the city museum of the future. What does that look like? And what does the ultimate museum for and by children look like? By participating in the Amsterdam Museum Camp, collaborating on works of art, putting together exhibitions, and installing a children’s sounding board group and children’s director, Amsterdam children help build their own children’s museum.
They help to open the minds of the public and staff and make the museum the place for children. But above all, making and looking at art offers children opportunities to reflect on themselves, their environment and the world. Are you between 9 and 12 years old? Do you live in South, South East, Weesp or Center? Do you enjoy being creative and would you like to help develop a real children’s museum? Sign up for the Amsterdam Museum Camp! The program is completely free. Register quickly!
