50 years of medical and human assistance; online meeting

Doctors without Borders would like to discuss a number of highs and lows with donors and interested parties during the online meeting: 50 years of medical and human aid.

What do we do?
On Thursday 7 October from 8.30 pm to 9.30 pm we will look back on 50 years of Doctors Without Borders. We do this with, among others, the founder of Doctors Without Borders Netherlands Jacques de Milliano and our operational director Akke Boere. They tell us which moments left a deep impression on them. Also we reflect upon the dilemmas that we encounter in our work and the difficult decisions we sometimes have to make.

We also discuss the latest developments in Haiti and Afghanistan with our aid workers. For example, how do our teams deal with the changed situation in Afghanistan? How do we provide relief in the chaos that followed the earthquake in Haiti and how do we prepare for the aftermath of this disaster?
