Hotel Zoku Amsterdam has a new rooftop…and what a rooftop it is! Well worth a visit. You can live, work, meet and socialize there. Meet the newest rooftop in the Plantage!
Zoku Amsterdam has a completely renovated rooftop: a multifunctional space that seamlessly combines living, working, meeting and socializing. The new rooftop was developed based on insights from more than 4000 guests and local residents, and in collaboration with Amsterdam design agency Concrete.
The rooftop features coworking spaces, multiple terraces, creative event spaces and a vibrant restaurant and bar. From brainstorming sessions to a sunset drink with a view of the city, every corner is designed to promote connection, creativity and comfort.
Rooftop Terraces
There are also two new rooftop terraces: lush greenery and soft seating. The various hidden gems on the roof terrace offer an oasis of tranquility with panoramic views of the city, ideal for both locals and tourists. One terrace can be rented for up to 50 people for private events.
Built sustainably
Zoku is seriously committed to a waste-minimizing approach. Rather than starting from scratch, the renovation of the roof focused on reupholstering benches, reusing tables and upcycling materials throughout the space.
“Design should do more than just look good, it should also do good,” adds Marc Jongerius, co-founder of Zoku. “That’s why sustainability is embedded in every decision we make.”
