❤️ What’s your hidden gem in the Plantage neighbourhood?
There’s a small stretch of land here, also known as Roetersweiland. This was the campsite last year where students stayed in solidarity with Gaza. A lot of painful things happened there — blood, sweat and tears — but today it’s a place where people walk their dogs or sit in the sun with a coffee and someone they love.
It’s a spot where people come together to make their voices heard, sometimes beautifully, sometimes not — but to me, that’s also Amsterdam. It’s an unpolished patch of green that I cherish.
