What is your hidden gem in the Plantage neighbourhood?
A true hidden gem in the neighbourhood — just around the corner from Gassan — is the Rembrandt House. It’s far less crowded than, for example, the Van Gogh Museum, but incredibly impressive. You can wander through his home, where he taught his students and created his masterpieces. The house has been beautifully restored to its original state, giving you a glimpse into his life and what it was like to live in old Amsterdam.
Another place that’s important to me is Carré. The annual Christmas Circus has become a long-standing family tradition for us.
