Looking for a fun and educational family outing this summer? The Jewish Cultural Quarter offers plenty to discover for children and families. With one ticket, you can visit all locations and join a variety of free activities.

Jewish Museum junior (ages 6+)
Step inside the home of a Jewish family and discover Jewish traditions through play. Bake a traditional challah, write your name in Hebrew, listen to inspiring stories, and explore a museum where you’re encouraged to touch and discover.

🍞 Baking activities:

  • Monday, Tuesday, Thursday & Friday: 2:00 PM – 5:00 PM
  • Wednesday & weekends: 12:00 PM – 5:00 PM

Jewish Museum (ages 10+)
Travel through 400 years of Jewish history in Amsterdam and discover how the museum is housed in four former synagogues. During the school holidays, you can also join a free family tour.

Summer activities

  • 7 July – Decorate summer cookies (ages 6–12)
  • 14 July – Create your own “Judy” plate (ages 6–12)
  • 14 July – Judy Chicago cookie decorating (ages 6–12)
  • 6 August – Move and paint workshop (ages 6–12)
  • 9 August – Judy Chicago cookie decorating (ages 6–12)

All activities are free with a museum ticket. Some activities are walk-in, while advance booking is recommended for the workshop on 6 August.
