Looking for a fun and meaningful outing this May holiday? At Wereldmuseum Amsterdam, children explore the world and climate through play and discovery.
In the interactive exhibition Council of the Raven, young visitors become real climate heroes – hop on a dogsled, test your balance in a kayak, and discover how children around the world deal with climate change. There are also plenty of creative workshops, from cooking and designing a Poster for the Planet to creating artwork inspired by the Northern Lights.
Beyond the exhibition, there’s even more to explore. Celebrate Japanese Children’s Day by making your own colorful carp streamer or join a creative activity in Made in China and try block printing inspired by traditional techniques.
An inspiring day out for curious kids – and their parents.
