Jewish Cultural Quarter: meaningful gifts with a story

Published on Friday, November 7Shoppen in de Plantage

In the Jewish Cultural Quarter, you’ll find several museum shops that offer a rich selection of Jewish books, music, and gifts. Both the Jewish Historical Museum and the Portuguese Synagogue have spacious museum shops where culture and tradition come together.

The shop at the Jewish Historical Museum offers a wide range of items: from art books and exhibition catalogues to Jewish literature, music, and children’s books about Judaism. You’ll also find original gifts, postcards, and distinctive jewellery.

The museum shop at the Portuguese Synagogue focuses on books about Jewish history and religious products and follows the same opening hours as the synagogue. A limited selection of books and publications is also available at the Hollandsche Schouwburg and the National Holocaust Museum.
