Right in the heart of Amsterdam, inside a unique converted tunnel of 3,000 m², you’ll find VROG: an indoor parkour, freerunning, dance and trampoline park where there is plenty of space to move, train and connect. A special place in the Plantage neighbourhood, where both young and old are literally set in motion.
At VROG, everyone aged 2 and up is welcome. The programme is wide-ranging, from freerunning and trampoline training to urban dance classes, classes for adults, birthday parties, team-building activities, studio rental and summer camps. Right in the middle of busy Amsterdam, VROG offers room, energy and fun.
One of the most popular activities is TRAMPOTRICKS: an energetic trampoline training for children aged 4 to 14. During these classes, children work on strength, balance and coordination under the guidance of a trainer. Step by step, they learn new tricks and jumps on the trampoline field, airbag and performance trampolines.
VROG believes it is important that sport and movement are accessible to everyone. That’s why they work with the Stadspas (green dot) and the Youth Sports & Culture Fund (JeugdFonds Sport & Cultuur). There are also special Stadspas subscriptions and options to pay in instalments.
A regular membership starts on average from €39 per month, while children with a Stadspas can already participate for €10 per three months. In this way, VROG aims to give as many children and adults as possible the opportunity to move and have fun close to home.
A great tip for local residents looking for an active, accessible and surprising place to get moving.
Tip: when you walk down into the tunnel, you’ll pass some of the coolest graffiti — it’s a real feast for the eyes!
