Sunday tip: Discover Amsterdam’s wartime history aboard the Resistance Tram

Take a unique journey through Amsterdam’s wartime history on board the Resistance Tram. Departing from the Resistance Museum, this one-hour tour takes you past locations that played an important role during the German occupation, the persecution of the Jewish community, and the Dutch resistance.

Accompanied by a museum educator, you’ll hear the stories behind places such as the Hollandsche Schouwburg, Henriëtte Pimentel’s crèche, the Eerste Weteringplantsoen execution site, Waterlooplein, and the February Strike.

  • 12:30 PM

If demand is high, an additional tour will be added at 2:30 PM.

The Resistance Tram tour is intended for adults. The recommended minimum age for children is 14 years. Unfortunately, the historic tram is not wheelchair accessible.

Your ticket also includes admission to the Resistance Museum for the entire day.
