Would you like to lend a helping hand, but don’t know where to start? Well, in the city and also in your own neighborhood you can always go during NLdoet. There are all kinds of initiatives that you can join and experience what volunteering entails. And maybe you have a good idea for renovating, cleaning or beautifying that one spot in your own neighborhood? NLdoet
The Oranje Fonds will again organize NLdoet on March 14 and 15, 2025, together with thousands of social organizations in the country; the largest volunteer action in the Netherlands. NLdoet puts volunteer work in the spotlight and invites everyone to make a difference and matter for a day!

Participate
Volunteers are the beating heart of many social initiatives. The Oranje Fonds therefore shows with NLdoet how important active citizens are for society. Not a volunteer yet? Then you can experience how fun volunteering can be during NLdoet. Being a volunteer does something to you. It is a great opportunity for organizations to attract new volunteers.

For example, you can help people who can no longer do something themselves with their activity. If you want to clean or renovate, there are always a shortage of hands somewhere. Do you know how to make bicycles, are you handy with painting or with a needle and thread? Then you are certainly very welcome. There are many great projects that could use some extra support.
Does your organization have a fun NLdoet activity? Does the community center need to be renovated, does the Food Bank location need some cleaning, do you want a pampering day for all the elderly in the care home or do you have another fun activity?
