On Saturday 7 November, museums open their doors for a special evening. There’s plenty to discover in and around De Plantage, from art and magic to making your own etching and dancing through the museum galleries.

Discover Chez Matisse, enjoy spoken word by Glodi and dance to DJ Shaeef’s beats in the courtyard garden. The exhibitions close at 23:00.
🪩 Wereldmuseum Amsterdam | 19:00–02:00
It’s all about DISCO! Enjoy DJs, voguing workshops, retro badge-making and a glam & style corner. The final DJ set ends at 01:30.
✊ Verzetsmuseum Amsterdam | Activities 19:00–01:00
Make a protest badge, screen-print your shirt or join a short tour about small acts of resistance with a big impact. There’s also a hidden karaoke bar.
✍️ Museum Rembrandthuis | 19:00–02:00
Create your own etching, discover Rembrandt’s paint-making secrets and dance in the basement. Or get a Rembrandt tattoo by Schiffmacher & Veldhoen: booking is recommended, with limited walk-in availability. Many activities finish at 01:00.
🪄 Jewish Cultural Quarter | 19:00–02:00
Enjoy magic shows, workshops and matzo baking at the Jewish Museum. At the Portuguese Synagogue, discover photography and enjoy falafel and a drink.
🌿 ARTIS-Groote Museum | 19:00–02:00
Watch live drawing, dance to vinyl beats and discover performance poetry through headphones. Have your portrait drawn in the DrawingBooth!
