There are some great activities for kids in De Plantage this May holiday. A selection from the huge range (and be sure to check the websites of the parks, gardens, museums and theatres!):

At VROG you can always go for freerunning, dance, trampoline, parties and celebrations. During the May holiday you can jump on the trampoline from 12 noon, all ages 6+. There are also holiday camps with trampoline. And definitely also fun; jumping with your little one (2/5 years): as usual at 10:30 on Wed, Sat and Sun. Book in advance! Check the website for more information!

In the Jewish Cultural Quarter they have a whole programme for kids during the May holiday. From making a wish tube to baking a ginger bun or making a magical journey with Eden to discover the meaning of the Golden Rule.

ARTIS and Micropia teach you everything about nature, animals, microbes and the planets; go on an egg expedition, listen to special stories and see the world both under your feet and above your head. With many activities for little detectives, curious doers and sharp thinkers you will reflect on everything that lives, crawls, grows and blooms. The activities program is huge!

At the Maritime Museum you can participate in viewing tours, family tours, stargazing and plastic fishing. There are also drawing and coloring activities and the Junior Audio Tour is free. A whole program full of fun things for kids.

Celebrate the May holiday at Rembrandt’s home. At the Rembrandt House Museum there is a special program for families with children. Make your own 3D painting, discover the 3D artist Samuel van Hoogstraten, go on a multimedia tour with Rembrandt’s dog brush. And paint and etch at Rembrandt’s home! Extra fun, thanks to Bader Philanthropies, all Amsterdam residents can visit the museum for free on April 28!
