Discover the fascinating Czaar Peter Kwartier during the Tour de Czaar on Saturday, September 21

Once again you can discover the adjacent neighborhood this year during the Tour de Czaar, an interactive audio walking route along beautiful places in the Czaar Peter Kwartier and the Eastern Islands. During the walk you will stop at 15 historical or striking places and you can listen to the stories from the history of the street and neighborhood via an interactive map.

Between 12:00 and 18:00 there are all kinds of activities along the route, such as live performances and market stalls by entrepreneurs and local residents, you pass beautiful shops and tasty snacks and drinks are available here and there.

The route starts at Kattenburgerplein, there is a tour of the enormous Van Gendt Hallen that are currently being renovated, and the tour ends at Molen De Gooyer. There, participants will receive a free beer from Brouwerij ’t IJ.
