What do Sesame Street and the Milky Way have in common? That story goes back to 1992, when Tommie, Ieniemienie, Pino, and Aart took their journey to the stars at the ARTIS Planetarium. This program is only back for a short while this spring break, so come and see!

In the Gorilla House, you can create your own perfect elephant house. And at the sea lion enclosure, you’ll find the most beautiful photos taken by photographers of all ages of what happens when we sleep, in the exhibition “Splendor of the Night.”

And of course, zookeepers will share special stories and facts about the unique animals at ARTIS, you can go on a Micro Mission in the Groote Museum, meet Tanja the hippopotamus, and there are plenty of scavenger hunts throughout the park. In short, ARTIS during the spring break is a blast!
