As a sustainable alternative to Black Friday, The National Maritime Museum is once again hosting Green Sunday โ a day all about swapping, sharing and reusing. ๐ฟ
At the large giveaway market and clothing swap, you can easily find or pass on something beautiful. Itโs the perfect way to pick up sustainable gifts or give your wardrobe a fresh, green update.
There will also be guided tours of the exhibition Oceanista (at 13:00 and 14:00), where fashion and sustainability meet.
And of course: coffee and something sweet (while supplies last), free entry to the market, and a warm, green atmosphere throughout the museum. โ๐ซ
๐ Clothes Swap
Have something lovely in your wardrobe that could make someone else happy?
Bring it along, clean and washed, and swap it for something new!
Please note: no worn-out or damaged items โ letโs keep it nice and reusable.
๐๏ธ Giveaway Market
There are already enough things in the world.
Thatโs why you can shop for free at the giveaway market and wrap your gift right away at the Stichting Curinesa wrapping table.
This way, nothing new needs to be bought and together we contribute to a more sustainable future.
๐ฅซ The Reverse Supermarket
Bring non-perishable food or groceries and donate them to the Reverse Supermarket.
Together weโll make sure all our neighbors can enjoy a well-stocked table during the holiday season.
๐ Location: The National Maritime Museum
๐ Time: 11:00 โ 16:00
๐ Admission: Free
๐งญ Registration: Not required โ just drop by and join in!
Together we show that sharing, reusing, and caring for one another is not only good for the planet โ itโs good for the neighborhood too. ๐๐
